Anyone else as serious about candy as I am?

Yup. Dresser drawer dedicated to it

Drawer full of Reeses....drool. Not supposed to have sugar these days, but I can stop after one piece (usually) of a Seattle Chocolates Dark bar and be satisfied:

Not a chocolate addict, but love quality licorice. If I have two bags of it, I'll eat them both in one sitting. I typically restrict my intake to a packet for the ride home from the grocery store. Jason, you have such will power. If I had a drawer full of candy I like, I would soon have an empty drawer. well done...

Lucretia, You are a exemplary model. I have no will power.

Well that wont last long. I ate so much today I gave myself a headache and sent my blood sugar up to 160!

    What is quality licorice Mike?

It depends on the candy. Reese cups I could strap on like a feed bag and go through a couple of pounds. I don't buy them because I can't resist them. The dark chocolates seem to be more satisfying with just a little bit.

  6. I came to my parents house and was just overwhelmed with the amount of candies and chocolate here. Those things aren't good for my health and normally I rarely buy any chocolate at all, but I'm still badly addicted person and can't really stop myself once I have all those things within the reach of my hands. I may end up in the hospital if I don't stop myself :)

I love dark chocolate truffles. When I lived in Poulsbo we would go to Boehms Chocolate for great chocolate.
Nothing like that down here so I started making my own. Might not be pretty but they taste better than any I have bought. Made these Wednesday night when I couldn't sleep.

    Jellybeans. ..
I love them. I don't care what size bag they come in, I look at it as a single serving size..
I love the ones with the thick sugar coating on the outside like Brachs makes....
    Mmmmm.....Easter. ....

  13. Haribo gummies and Twizzlers are my biggest vices. I'm pretty good about keeping them out of the house but once I start in on some I binge.

  14. Necro Post. My brother in law works for Reeses. Keeps the machines running. He has access to the freshest, right off the line candies. Love going to his place.

Nice, I took the kids up to Hersey this year and they loved it. Pretty cool tour and facility. You can smell the chocolate from a mile away.

  18. Hershey's is a splendid chocolate, and I am a bit of a chocolate snob. :)
