Stainless and gidgee chefs

Discussion in 'Knife & Gear Galleries' started by Matthew McVicar, Jun 7, 2015.

  1. Here is another I've just finished. Sorry for the average photos, got them just before the customer arrived to collect.

    210mm CPM154CM stainless at around 60 rockwell.

Handle is ringed gidgee and nickel silver guard/spacer.

This is a style I've developed that suits my cutting style so may not appeal to all but I'm very happy with it. They do have quite a long handle but I like that... And it just means more of that gidgee!

    I'd appreciate your feedback/critiques.

are you a pro craftsman here? is there more info on your knives for sale somewhere?

  6. Thanks fellas.
Brad, I make knives as a hobby and work full time. I'm very flattered by your comment given the talent on this forum.
I plan to have a website sometime in the near future and already have a Facebook page - VicarForge.
I would like to sell on this page soon also but still setting myself up so not yet.
    Regards,
    Matt
